I’m not only a papercraft, but a lover of many other crafts!!  One of my all time favourites is cross stitch so I was excited to see the Cross Stitch Christmas stamp set.

Here the latest cross stitch that I finished earlier this year.

bec-cross-stitch

Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the 3 trees in Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green and Real Red.  It does take a little bit of practice to get the stamps lined up nicely.   I cut it out with an Oval Stitched Shape framelits and then a crumb cake oval.

I embossed the Granny Apple Green with the Quilt Top embossing folder.  Don’t you just love this folder!

I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce and punched it out with the Classic Label punch.  I added a piece of Polka Dot ribbon and Real Red Solid Ribbon.

I just love Christmas!!!  I can’t wait to get into making Christmas cards!

Head on over to visit Lou and check out her gorgeous project!

You may have come from Fi Cobbin, or starting here with me.

I am starting to get in the Christmas spirit so I decided to highlight the lovely holly wreath and use my new Real Red Stampin’ Blends.  (New colours are coming in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue!!)

I just love the Stitched Seasons framelits and the double stitching.  I cut out a piece using the Under the Mistletoe DSP and then decide that I would make two cards and use the opposite pieces.  I also used my favourite Subtles embossing folder!

ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue Fancy Folds and 3d projects Blog Hop

Welcome to the ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue Fancy Folds & 3D Projects blog hop!  You may have come from Courtenay Heuston or be starting here with me!

I have created a couple of projects for you tonight.  I wanted to have a play with the Lovely Laurel thinlits so I decided to create a set of napkin holders for my Christmas table.

I created a circle of Silver foil and cut out the wreath from the thinlits in Tranquil Tide.  I then cut out the banner in Gold Glimmer paper.  (Because it’s Christmas and you need sparkle!!)  Now if you could do nice, fancy writing and write a name on it, or you can add a stamp from the Christmas Happiness and cut it out using the Lovely Laurel thinlit.

Of course, if you are having Christmas dinner at your place, you might be wanting to send an invite out.  So I create a matching card.

If you follow me, you’ll notice that I never decorate the inside of my cards!  But, on this card, I did the inside first!

I created the wreath and the banner as per the place holder.  I wanted to add a bigger sentiment into the middle of the card, so I stamped the sentiment from Merry Little Labels using markers.  I then placed it into the middle of the card and gently folded it.  Once I had a fold line on the circle, I then scored it and attached it to the banner.

For the front of my card, I used the Good Tidings stamp set.  I love the rustic look of the holly leaves.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects for tonight’s hop.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  Next up is my friend, Peta Stephen.

ESAD Holiday Catalogue Hop

I’m so excited to be a part of the ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue blog hop!  And to be sharing a couple of my favourite Holiday projects with you!

So you might be starting the hop with me, or have come from the talented Ellen Woodbridge.  Just make sure you keep following the next button to see all the amazing inspiration from the Holiday Catalogue.

There are lots of fabulous stamp sets and products in this catalogue!!  I decided to create my first project using the Good Tidings stamp set.

I started off with using the Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder which I just received this week to add some texture to the background.  I then stamped up a piece using the holly stamps from the set.  I stamped off once using garden green for the solid image and then didn’t for the second image.

I then stamped the sentiment from the set in Cherry Cobbler and cut it out using the circle framelits.  I also did a silver foil circle and a scalloped circle in Cherry Cobbler.  And wait for it, I USED washi tape!!  I used the new Year of Cheer Specialty washi tape (which is so lovely!!) and a piece from the Basics Pack 2 washi tape.  I will get through my washi 2″ at a time!!

For my second card, I wanted to do something other than Christmas.  The Painted Harvest stamp set is beautiful!!  When I first saw it, I wasn’t convinced, but seeing many demonstrator samples over the past month has made me change my mind and fall in love with it.

I love that you can do so many different colour combinations for the flowers, however today, I’ve gone fairly traditional.  I started with the centre of the flower using Early Espresso.  I then used Daffodil Delight for the solid image and then used Pumpkin Pie for the next image and then did my favourite thing, fussy cutting.  NOT!

I stamped the leaves on the cardstock in Old Olive and the sentiment in Early Espresso.

This is a quick and easy card to re-create.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards tonight.  Next up is the amazing Mandy.

Make sure you leave me a comment and let me know what you think of my projects!  A list of the participants is below in case you get lost on the hop.

Happy Stamping

ESAD Info Holiday 2015

So onto my projects!! I have to admit I was a little stumped on what to make as there are so many lovely products in this catalogue. I simply couldn’t decide which stamp set to use. I decided to try a sketch challenge and found one at Sweet Sunday Sketch that I liked.

SSSC285

You know how sometimes it’s really hard to cut up Designer Series Paper? Well, I’ve been having a bit of trouble cutting into the Home for Christmas DSP! So I’ve bitten the bullet and done it! Using the colour’s of the DSP, I layered up my card in Real Red, Pool Party and Delightful Dijon.

I used the Cozy Christmas stamp set and inked up the stamp using markers. Doesn’t it look fab!!

esad hop 2

I also had to create a matching envelope using the Real Red envelope paper. Did you know that you can get 20 sheets for only $10.50. That’s a lot of cute envelopes!!

I just love the Snowflake as well especially with an Iced Rhinestone on it!!

I also liked the slightly larger Season stamp in the set so I made the same card using a different piece of the Home for Christmas DSP. Oh, and isn’t the Stripes Satin ribbon to die for? I wasn’t a fan to start with but it is very luxurious looking. I can see I’m going to use it a lot.

Stampin’ Up! Product List:

16 September 2012 – ESAD 2012-2013 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Hi everyone!!

It’s time again for another ESAD Blog Hop.

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for “Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators” and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin’ Up! demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it  with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Now the blog hop started at Chloe Evans and you may be joining in from across the sea with the talented Narelle Hoggard, but if you are joining in here, no worries, just keeping on hopping around each blog until you get back here.

Now for my project.  I’ve joined in a couple of the U-Stamp with Dawn Big Shot classes and received lots of templates for great projects but I’ve rarely used them. (Bad, I know!!)  I wanted to make something a little different this time, so I had a look through my templates and decided upon the Petal Cone Accordion Wreath which was designed by Betty Traciak.

I have used the Summer Smooches DSP which is so bright and cheery, just right for spring.  You need to cut out lots of petal cones from the die and also the half scallop circles.  I’ve also used the bird from Betsy’s Blossoms and the For you comes from Layered Labels.  I just love the matching framelits.  (I must confess, I’m rather addicted to the framelits, I’ve bought nearly all of them!!  and the rest are on the list!!)

Here’s a close up of the centre.

I’ve used the Scallop circle die and I’ve place rhinestones in each scallop (did you know that there are 30!).  I’ve used one of my favourite embossing folders, Elegant Lines.  The birdie is sitting on a branch from the Bird builder punch.  I also cut out the wing of the bird and popped it out with a dimensional.    I had stamped the whole image from the Layered Labels stamp set in Rich Razzleberry but it need a bit of Daffodil Delight to brighten it up.  I used the Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon for the bow.

Stamp Set:  Layered Labels, Betsy’s Blossoms

Ink:  Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry

Paper:  Summer Smooches DSP, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White

Accessories:  Big Shot, Petal Cone die, Scallop circle die, Elegant Lines embossing folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, bird builder punch, rhinestones, Island Indigo ruffled ribbon.

Now your next stop on the hop is with the very talented Delys Cram from New Zealand.  Just click on her name and enjoy your trip across the sea!

Here’s a list of all the blogs in the hop, in case you get side tracked.  I hope you enjoy all the wonderful creations from these talented ladies.  Just click on their name and it will take you to their page.

25 January 2010 – Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

I am a member of a yahoo email group, ESAD (Extra Special Aussie Demonstrators) which is for Australian and New Zealand Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to share ideas, ask questions, run swaps, share tutorials, participate in challenges and generally chat and get excited about Stampin’ Up!

If you are an Australian or New Zealand SU! demonstrator, you can join the group by going to the group (ESAD).

Following the success of the Summer Mini Catalogue Blog Hop in December, I am delighted to be a part of the Sale-a-bration blog hop.    Follow the links and visit each blog to see fabulous creations made with the stamp sets that you can earn for free during the Sale-a-bration period.  Comment on each blog, then send an email to Leonie with your name and email address.  ( leonie@stamp-a-latte.com)

Here are a couple of cards that I have made with the Whimiscal Words set.  I just love the words used in this set!!

I’ve used the Hello Again Stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalogue on the Pink Passion strip.  This is a really cute set that can be used for all sorts of occasions.  I’ve also used the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper from the mini.  This is a gorgeous paper which uses the Bold Brights colour range.  I don’t use these often but this paper just matches perfectly (well, what would we expect from Stampin’ Up!!)

I’ve stamped the words onto Whisper White cardstock and then punched it out with the new 1 3/4″ circle punch and then created a Tempting Turquoise circle with the Circle Scissor Plus.  I’ve layered it all together with whisper white 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon and done a bow to end it all off.

I am having a blitz on the pink flamingo designer series paper at the moment.  It was included in the recent clearance sale and I’ve been using it a lot!!

I have used cameo coral cardstock as the base and inked cupcake standard wheel in the same colour for a lovely tone-on-tone effect.  I used the wheel guide to help me out on the whisper white as I can’t go straight on my own (especially when it is for something important!!).  I coloured the cakes with the Stampin’ Write markers (cameo coral, real red and summer sun) and added a touch of glitter with the two way glue pen and dazzling diamonds (now I dazzle as well!! and my craft table and my work top!!)

I then layered with summer sun cardstock and the pink flamingo dsp.  I stamped onto whisper white using cameo coral ink and then punched it out using the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  Couple of dimensions on the back and you’re set to go!!!

I love this stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and it’s even better when it’s free!!!  If you would like to earn this set for free, there are two ways you can do so.  Place an order for $100 or host a workshop and achieve over $600 in sales.   If you are interested in becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Sale-A-Bration is a great time to join as you will receive an extra stamp set of your choice to the value of $79.95 with your starter kit.  Email me at stampinwithrebecca@yahoo.com.au or phone 0408 193 792 today to get in early!!

The next blog to visit is by Ros Davidson.
