I can’t believe that we are in June and almost halfway through the year!! I am so excited to be share the Christmas section with you this week with Caseing the Catty. I just love the new This Christmas Specialty DSP, and did you know that you get 24 sheets of paper in this pack! That’s four of each design instead of the usual two.
So this week, I decided to case the gift bag at the back on page 26 of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. I had one problem though, as I didn’t have a wreath to use. But no worries!! I got out my new Swirly Scribbles thinlits and used the largest scribble to create the look of a wreath. I sponged it a little to give it a bit of depth. I used the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set to stamp the banner, using my ever trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to help align it. And of course, my favourite triple banner punch to do the ends. I hand cut the flowers out of the dsp and added a bit of Stella for some sparkle. You can’t have a Christmas card without a bit of bling!!
So I hope you are inspired our hop today to get started early with your Christmas cards. Next on the hop is the lovely Elizabeth. I can’t wait to see what she has created!!
Don’t forget that we are looking for new Crew members. If you would like to join us, head over to our blog and link up your project. We will be announcing the new members in July.
Happy Stamping
