This week sees the start of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue!! How exciting!! And we are already starting on our journey through the new catalogue here at CTC and are starting with the Birthday section between pages 10-25.
As I flicked through this section trying to decide which card to case, I had trouble choosing as there are so many great projects. I haven’t received my new catalogue order yet (but it’s on it’s way!!) so I went with a set that carried over. Although apparently this set is still new to me as I haven’t actually inked it up yet!
I was inspired by the cake card on page 22 of the catalogue.
I don’t have many male cards in my stash so I decided to change the colours to Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim. I also used Peekaboo Peach for my third cake. To add the ribbon, I cut a small slit down the seam of the card and tucked the ribbon through it. I then used a bit of tape on the inside of the card to hold it down.
The Endless Birthday wishes stamp set has so many great sentiments to choose from and I love how you can mix and match them.
Next on the Hop is the lovely Judy, so make sure you check out her gorgeous project.
Don’t forget you can join in with us anytime during the month. Just click on the image below to head to the link up. Oh, and we are looking for new CTC team members so make sure you join in. Click on the link to find out the details.
Happy Stamping

Great colour combo, Rebecca. Love this layout as well 🙂
Hooray is right! Your card is bright & fun, I especially love the In Colours you’ve used together.
Great combination of colours – your masculine card is a great take on the CASE – thank you for the inspiration!!!
Love your take on this card, always so creative Rececca.
Another fun card using this sketch, it’s a good one. Those colours look great too, with the three cakes.
Bec those colours look so gorgeous together. Lovely bright and cheery masculine card – so much nicer than the usual blues and browns. ( although i am guilty of using them often as well) love yours.
Great card! Loving the new In Colors, aren’t they gorgeous?
