CTC83 – Thanks

ctc_header

Can you believe we are up to the three week of the new catalogue already!!  This year is flying past so quickly.  I’m actually counting down to the end of September when I embark on an adventure!!  I’m travelling with a girlfriend to New York (and also visiting Washington, Lancaster, Philadelphia, Quebec, Ottawa and Niagara Falls.  Oh and we’re doing a cruise as well!!)  Only 101 days until we leave!!

So this week we are showcasing the Thanks section of the catalogue on pages 38-43.

ctc83 thanks

I decided to case the gift bag on page 42.

I’ve changed it up a bit by firstly making it as a card and then changing the colours.  I love the new Floral Boutique DSP so that was my inspiration. I don’t have the new doilies yet so I went with gold ones instead (you can’t go wrong with gold!!).  The Floral Affection embossing folders are so lovely!!   I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and the matching Duet Banner punch.  Love it when it all matches perfectly!!

And of course, you need gold satin ribbon and gold sequins to finish it off!!

I hope you like my card!!  Please let me know in the comments at the end.  Next on the hop is the lovely Kathryn.

  1. Greetings from 20 miles north of Philadelphia! It should be lovely when you come here. If you have try, and you like gardens, try to make some time to see Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Exquisite. Your bag is so cute and the card is beautiful (and uses my favorite paper in the new catalog).

  2. Well Bec, Navy and white and gold is just so elegant. Great CASE and nice turning the bag into a card. How exciting your trip sounds. 101 days will go so quickly

  3. Rebecca your card is lovely, I so love those little banners, and the DSP which is one of my favourites, love the gold bling, just adds that final touch! Oooh! just noticed the embossing folder, love that too!
