My goal this year is to post at least once a week. I know, it’s a bit of a challenge!!
So here is a long one to start the week off.
One of my customers (hi Lynn) is moving and I wanted to give her a little gift to show my appreciation. I got the Milk carton die for Christmas and I have been dying to use it. They are the cutest little milk cartons that you have ever seen. They are a bit smaller than I first thought but what they lack in size, they make up for in cuteness!!!
I found an example of a milk carton made into a bird house and I fell in love!! I just had to make one. I used a piece of actetate behind the hole, so that the surprise inside didn’t fall out.
Paper: Marina Mist, Elegant Soiree DSP, Acetate
Accessories: Big Shot, Milk Carton Die, bird punch, 1″ circle punch, sticky strip, scalloped edge punch
I also made a card for Lynn, using the Word Play set. I love the words in this set, espeically the size. I also used the Colour Coach for the combination – Marina Mist, Crumb Cake and Cajin Craze.
Stamp Set: Word Play
Paper: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze
Ink: Cajun Craze
Accessories – Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon, Brad from Hodgepodge Hardware, Elegant Lines Embossing folder, Big Shot
I’ve got another post plannned for this week, so keep an eye out. Until then, have a great week!!
