I haven’t had much opportunity this week to spend time in my craft room, so I was excited to get a chance to have a play for this week’s CASEing the Catty challenge this week, which is gift tags. There are so many stunning tags in the 2015 Holiday catalogue, that it was a little hard to choose!!
I decided to case the tags on the tree on page 16 which use the Peaceful Pines stamp set and the Perfect Pines framelits as I haven’t had a chance to use this set yet.
I made my bases first using the Scalloped tag topper, the Ornate tag topper and the Banner triple punches. You can certainly whip these up quickly!! I did 3 on whisper white and 3 on using the Kraft cardstock. Then onto choosing which tags to make!!
To create the watercolour splats, I used the splodges from the Work of Art stamp set. I didn’t want to make a big mess and this was a lot quicker!! I did stamp off the ink on one of the tags to make the colour look a bit lighter.
These were fun to make and I really enjoyed playing with the layering of the stamps and framelits.
To continue on the hop and to see what other stunning tags the team has made, visit my lovely friend, Jessica at The Paper Caper.

Happy Stamping
Stampin’ Up! Product List
These look great, love the combination of these stamps and the framelits, well done!
Lots of combinations of different punches and stamped images, just makes Stampin’ Up! products oh so versatile.
Lovely lovely tags and trees! And my favourite is the tree with all the baubles on the white tag! Lots of work and so cute!
Lovely Bec, and I too like the 3 D tree, but my favourite is the top left white on Kraft. Those little baubles are cute, I’m sure I would lose them on my craft desk!
What fun tags, they look great, I’m liking the Kraft tag base best, I think.
Bec, you certainly have been busy this week. All your tags are simply stunning but I do have a soft spot for Kraft so those 3 tags especially caught my eye. The 3D tree is also a favourite. The 3D design makes a special tag into a super special tag!!!
Wow you’ve been busy Bec! Love all of these beauties but think my favourite is the 3D tree with the watercolour wash behind. x
