CTC130 – Time for a sketch case

Oh it’s a bit chilly in Queensland today!! As I type up this post, it’s 12.2 degrees but feels like 8.2. I need to be like my pussy cats and find a patch of sun!!

This week, we are casing a sketch from page 130 of the 2020 -2021 Annual Catalogue.

It’s the one on the right of this pretty set of cards. Here’s the sketch.

I’ve just received the Arrange a Wreath bundle which includes the Arrange a Wreath stamp set and the matching Wreath Builder dies, so I was inspired to use this today for our sketch.

I had a flip through the pretty papers in the Flowers For Every Season DSP to see what might work for this sketch. I ended up going with one of the background pieces in Misty Moonlight for my side panel which I cut out using the Ornate Layers dies. I then cut out a wreath in a piece of Bumblebee patterned dsp. And I did a couple of the little flowers in whisper white. One of the great things Stampin’ Up! have started doing, is to add more than one die of same shape to make it quicker to cut out multiple shapes.

My sentiment is from the Path of Petals stamp set which I inked with Misty Moonlight and cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies.

I added a couple of rhinestone for a bit of bling.

Don’t you love it when you are editing your photo and you realise that you didn’t stick the sentiment on straight!! Woopsie!!

Don’t forget that when you spend $90 on products in July, you will earn a Bonus Days coupon for $9 to redeem in August.

Next up is the lovely Tina.

We would love to see your creations using this sketch so please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping!!
