Welcome to another week of Caseing the Catty. It’s a wonderful, rainy day today just perfect for crafting. I went out boating with my husband yesterday (I say boating as we didn’t catch any fish!) and it was a beautiful day out on the water.

This week, we are casing the boy cards of the catalogue. As I flipped through the catalogue, I was surprised how many girl cards there are!! We need a few more boy ones.

I decided to case one of the cards on page 33.

I was really drawn to the way the dsp was cut as a frame around the image. I used a piece of the darker timber from the In Good Taste DSP and cut it into 1″ strips. I then attached them to a piece of cardstock the size I wanted as my layer and trimmed the edges.
I then stamped and cut out a bunch of the images from the Sailing Home stamp set and the matching Smooth Sailing dies. I also used a piece of denim ribbon.

Next up is the lovely Michelle.
We would love to see your creations casing the male cards in the catty, so please join us over on at our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping

Great man card
It’s so clever to use the DSP at different angles. I certainly must try it! Your layered elements are so fun and the denim ribbon works perfectly.
Thank you ๐
Very nice with timber and the anchor together.

Great masculine card. Love the darker timber and the elements you put together. It looks like it was a lovely day to be out on the water.
It was! Thank you ๐
Great masculine card Rebecca, this DSP works perfectly with the nautical images.
