Well sometimes the best laid plans go astray!! So now, I’m back on track again.
This week I am focusing on the Peaceful Wreath stamp set. I was so excited to see this set in the catalogue so I could utilize one of my favourite dies, Wondrous Wreath.
But for today, I decided to use one of the other stamps in the set. Yes, there is more than just a cute wreath!!
At this time of year, it’s helpful to have little gift bags or boxes on hand in case of emergency gifts. The square pillow box die is great for this! It’s retiring at the end of the Holiday Catalogue, so make sure you grab it now!!
I cut out 2 pillows and then ran them through the big shot with the Woodlands Embossing folder. A quick couple of folds and a strip of fast fuse and the box is done!
I then stamped the branch with Mossy Meadow ink and hand cut it out. I then coloured the holly leaves with my blender pens and added some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the holly berries. And then left it to dry so there were no accidents.
To create the sentiment, I carefully placed the stamps individually on the block (about 3 times before I got a nice placement) then stamped in Cherry Cobbler and cut out with the Lots of Labels framelits. A piece of burlap around the pillow box and some gold cord behind the sentiment to add some texture.
So who would like to receive this?
