I’m back this week with CTC and I’m so excited that our new Crew members are hopping with us today. Make sure you leave them a comment and welcome them to the Crew!!
We are caseing the Everyday Occasions section of the Annual Catalogue (pages 66-91). This is a huge section, so I decided to case two cards.
My first card was inspired by the gorgeous Detailed Floral Thinlits on page 76. They are so pretty and look amazing yet are so easy to create.
I love the white on white look but I decided to go with white and Emerald Envy. I just love this green. It’s a very easy card to create, just cut out the thinlits and attach to the background!! Then stamp the sentiment and you are done!! Or you might want to stamp your sentiment before attaching just in case there is a creative error!! Not that I did that!! As I love Emerald Envy so much, I added a ruched ribbon bow instead of twine and painted the whole card with Wink of Stella.
For my next card, I wanted to play with the Banners for You stamp set and co-ordinating bundle as it just arrived on Friday and I NEEEDED to play with it!!
I pretty much cased the whole card from page 78 and just added another layer of Mint Macaron as one of the background layers. Sometimes the catalogue card is so pretty, why reinvent the wheel!! The colours on the photograph have come out quite orange but the original is a lovely peach.
I haven’t had much opportunity to make cards for a few weeks, so I’ve really enjoyed making these! I hope you like them too. Make sure you continue to hop with my lovely friend, Simone. You’ll love her project this week!!
Don’t forget that you can join in with our challenges each week!! We announce the winner at the start of the following month.
Happy Hopping

Great cards Rebecca! Don’t you just love wink of Stella! How did we make anything without it?? Kelly x
I don’t know!! I love it!!
Stunning examples, Rebecca. I must use Emerald Envy again after all this inspiration.
Totally gorgeous cards – and that banner set was on my wish list… it might just get promoted to the ‘must have’ list!!! Thank you for the inspiration – your card has made the one in the catalogue come alive!! And I love the detailed floral thinlits too – they just look amazing and so easy!!
Oh, I love them both Bec, I have both these sets, but I haven’t used those square-ish banners yet. Great inspiration to do so. I will be playing along soon!
Love your emerald envy card to bits!! The combination with white just looks so elegant. I can see you added a little mint macaron cardstock on your second card – very nice. Great work Rebecca.
Two gorgeous cards Rebecca, and I totally understand you having to play with new goodies.
Beautiful cards Rebecca, love your colour choices for both.
