Welcome to a warm Sunday in Queensland!! It’s been raining off and on the last week or so and it’s rather humid today. So last week I got new carpet and flooring in my house and craft room. It’s been a big effort to move it all and then put it all back. I did a bit of re-arranging of my craft room and I love it! It’s working well so far.
Don’t you love the new floors!! I’m in love!!
So this week, we are casing a sparkly or glittery project from either catty. You won’t be surprised that I chose this challenge!!
So hard to choose which project to case!! I decided to case the card on page 44 on the right hand side.
I started off with cutting out the Ever Eden DSP (which will be available in November) and die cut a piece using the Christmas Pinecone dies. I then cut out a piece of Gold Vellum with the other Christmas Pinecone die. I used some left over glue dots from a kit as they were a bit smaller to attach the vellum to the dsp. I used another piece of the Ever Eden DSP which has graduating colours. I couldn’t decide which piece to use so I made two cards. I then cut out a frame using the Stitched Rectangle dies and the foam adhesive strips. A piece of gold shimmer ribbon behind the frame and it’s done!
The sentiment is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set and I used the Evening Evergreen ink.
Next up is the lovely Kathryn.
We would love to see your creation, so please share over on at our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping!!
I love how your layered foliage really highlights the framed greeting. Both great but I think my favourite is the darker background as it makes the foliage stand out more.
Love your new organised space and flooring.
Thanks 😊
Love the greeting on your card – just perfect. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!
Thank you 😊
Have I missed Gold Vellum somehow? I love how the new DSP gives a speckled look behind the vellum. Very pretty CASE.
Thank you 😊
Love those layers in different papers Bec, and your floor is super cool.
Thanks 😊
