Welcome to another fun week at Caseing the Catty! This week, we are casing a sketch of a card on page 34 of the July – December 2021 Mini Catalogue.

Here’s the sketch. Thank you to our Crew member, Rose for creating this graphic for us!!

I started off by flipping through my designer series papers and landed on the Heartwarming Hugs DSP and in particular, the plaid sheet. It makes my eyes go funny to look at it!! I decided to add a scalloped edge using the Scalloped Contour dies. I then cut out some of the Poinsettia flowers in the Red foil and layered them up using glue dots.

The sentiment is from the Whimsical Trees stamp set and I inked it up using a Real Red marker and Pear Pizzazz marker. I cut it out using the Pierced Blooms dies.

The flower is just so shiny!! I love it!!
