CI108

Welcome to our 108th challenge at Colour INKspiration! We welcome Jessica Hart as our Guest Designer. Today’s picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Colour INKspiration Crew Member, Rose Packer.

Isn’t that a beautiful staircase? It would make me happy everyday to walk down those stairs!! I have been thinking about what I could do for my card and I wanted to do lots of flowers. Then I realised that I hadn’t used the free Counting Sheep stamp set and the matching Sheep dies from Sale-a-bration yet. So I had to create a card that had sheep frolicking with the flowers!!

I used the instructions from a tutorial by my lovely friend, Bronwyn Eastley, which you can purchase here. To create the fence, I cut out 4 panels from the sheep dies. Luckily, they were the perfect size!!

I also used the blending brushes to create the sky and the grass.

I cut plenty of flowers from the Pierced Blooms dies including the stems and just played with the placement until I was happy. The sentiment is also from the Counting Sheep stamp set.

I love this card!! Those sheep are just too cute!! Make sure you place your order and earn your freebies soon as Sale-a-bration ends on 30 September.
