Welcome to another fun week of casing our fabulous catalogues!! We have a great challenge this week, where we are casing a technique and in particular, embossing. There are a couple of type of embossing. You can use embossing powder which can add shine and bling to your card. Then there’s using embossing folders. I still get a thrill when I emboss a piece of card stock!

I wanted to have a play with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder which is just so pretty!! I’ve cased a card on page 41 which shows embossing with vellum.

This embossing folder looks amazing with vellum. Well, any folder looks amazing with vellum!!

So I started with a Just Jade cardstock base and added my embossed vellum piece. I cut out a piece of the Hand Penned DSP with the Scalloped Contours dies (these are quickly becoming a new favourite!!). The sentiment is stamped in Highland Heather and is from the Encircled in Friendship stamp set. I’ve cut this out using another favourite, the Tasteful labels dies.
