We are celebrating our 100th Colour Inkspiration Challenge tonight!! How exciting!! Colour INKspiration was founded by Bronwyn Eastley in 2017 who put together a crew of 25. We still have 8 original members on the Colour INKspiration Crew and I’m one of them!! Our first challenge CI#01 was on January 11, 2017.
In honour of Bronwyn, she has selected a beautiful image of the Bridestowe Lavender Farm in Tasmania (that’s where Bron lives!!). Isn’t it a stunning photo. I’ve been to the Lavender Farm and it’s even better in real life.
So our colours this week are Gorgeous Grape, Magenta Madness and Bermuda Bay.
I decided to play with my new Art in Bloom Bundle which includes the Art in Bloom stamp set, Blooms dies and also the Bloom Hybrid embossing folder. Yes that’s 3 items in the one bundle!!
I started off using the embossing folder. Oh I love using folders!! I embossed twice in Bermuda Bay and Magenta Madness. Then I used the bloom dies to cut out the flowers. And it’s one die so it’s super easy to get everything lined up properly. I attached the cut out flowers to the Bermuda Bay piece just using Stampin’ Seal. I added a long banner using the new Gold Metallic specialty paper and then the sentiment from the Art in Bloom stamp set. I also added some gold flowers for extra bling.
