CI95

I’m so happy that I had a chance to join in this gorgeous challenge! We have such a pretty colour combo and a stunning picture.

Isn’t it a stunning image!! And the colours are Gold, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Blackberry Bliss.

I was inspired by the image to try and recreate it using the Today’s Tiles stamp set and Gilded Leafing. I stamped the main tile stamp on each colour of cardstock in the matching ink and then cut them all up. I think this part of making the card took the longest!

I then cut out a piece of Whisper White and stuck a piece of the multi-adhesive sheets very carefully over the top. I then worked out a pattern with the tiles and attached them. The final step was to gold it up with the gilded leafing. Firstly, I turned off the fan to make sure it didn’t get blown all over the place!! Although there’s still a few bits on my desk now! I layered it on a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

The sentiment is from the Today’s Tiles stamp set and cut out using the Tasteful Labels dies.
