Welcome to the ESAD January – June Mini Catalogue and SAB hop! You may have come from Lou’s gorgeous project or be starting here with me.
We are showcasing the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration Catalogue, which is running during January and February this year.
I have created two cards for our hop which are both focusing on the gorgeous designer series papers.
My first card features the True Love Designer Series Paper. This paper has gorgeous black and white floral designs. We also have an exciting new tool to use which are the Blending Brushes!! They come in a pack of 3 and they are so velvety soft to touch!
There is a piece of dsp that features daisies and I thought it would be perfect to try the blending brushes. I used Bumblebee and dabbed the brush onto the ink pad and rubbed it gently onto the paper. I then added Bumblebee ribbon and bow and used a Matte black dot. The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp set and the Messages die.
My second card features the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. This is such a pretty paper!! Another exciting addition is Gilded Leafing. It is so fun to use although it is a bit messy. I had to make sure I wasn’t in a breeze whilst I used it, so off went the fan for a short time. I dabbed versamark and heat & stick powder onto the dsp and heated it. I think my powder is a bit old as it wasn’t very sticky. So I sponged some Tombow glue onto paper and then brushed the gilding leafing onto the paper.
The flower is stamped from the Art Gallery stamp set and cut out using the Floral Gallery dies. The sentiment is from the same set and dies. I also added some Wink of Stella to the flower to make it sparkly as well.

Oh Rebecca I love these cards. I love the ink blending on the daisy DSP, such a bright fun card. Love the addition of gold leaf to the art DSP – takes it to a whole new level!

Lovely creations Rebecca – I love the change you made to the DSP on the first card, by simply blending ink over it. Completely changes the feel of it. A lovely, happy card full of warmth 🙂 x
