CTC262 – Week 1 – Casing Sketch

Welcome to February!! Can you believe that one month of 2020 has already gone by. It’s going so fast!!

This week, we are casing a sketch of a layout from page 34 of the 2020 January to June Mini Catalogue.

Isn’t this such a cute card!! I love those koalas!! So here’s the sketch.

I was so excited to see the Country Club suite as my dad is an avid golfer!! He is now set for life for cards!! So when I went to create my card for today, I wanted to use this set. So I searched through my stamps and couldn’t find it! Say what!!! I even went back through my orders and nope, I hadn’t got it yet!!! Nooooo!!!!! I did have the Country Club DSP and the Absolutely Argyle 3d embossing folder so I went with that instead.

I started with Night of Navy cardstock and embossing a piece with the Absolutely Argyle embossing folder. To make it stand out, I added a thin edge of Whisper White.

I then cut out three rectangles from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I am loving these dies!! Scallops and stitching together are divine!!

My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays set.

You can purchase the whole suite which includes the Country Club DSP, Club House bundle (Club house stamp set and Golf Club dies), Absolutely Argyle 3d embossing folder, Country Club twine combo pack and Country Club elements here. If you purchase the suite, you can then also choose a free Sale-a-bration item as well!!

In case you haven’t noticed before, I also have links to all the products I have used at the very bottom of my post.

Next up is the lovely Julia.

We would love to see your creation showcasing this sketch! Please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping!

  1. Well that’s a pretty awesome card without the stamp set! It shows of the DSP perfectly and it’s still a great guy card! Love the colours you’ve used!!
