CI65

I’m back playing along with Colour Inkspiration Challenges. We have a stunning combo this week with Merry Merlot, Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite and Basic Black.

Isn’t this such a gorgeous picture!! I’ve added a bit of silver to my card as I felt it needed a bit of bling. My base is Basic Black and I have layered with a Subtle embossed Merry Merlot piece. I’ve then done a silver foil layer with Gray Granite. I have silver embossed the large Good Morning Magnolia flower and coloured it using Blackberry Bliss ink and an aqua painter. I played a bit for a shape for the sentiment (which is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set) and finally settled on the small label die from the Beautiful Boughs dies. I then cut a large Stitched Oval in Basic Black. I needed somewhere to base my oval and I realised that I had some Gray Granite textured weave ribbon which I added across the bottom.

Next up is the lovely Jacque in New Zealand.

Come and share your creation over on at our Facebook Group, here.

Happy Stamping

  1. The silver is a perfect addition. Love your subtle linear textures as they both emphasise the lines of the frames while working to show off the lines of the flower. This is just gorgeous!
