CTC241 – Case a layout on page 101

It must be time for the Ekka!! It’s so windy at the moment and it always seems to coincide with the Exhibition being held in Brisbane. I hope everyone in the bottom half of Australia is doing okay with the crazy, cold weather at the moment. Keep safe everyone!!

We are casing the layouts on page 101 of the 2019 Annual Catalogue.

I decided to case the elephant card on the bottom left.

I love the background of this card. When you look closely, it is one of the smaller Stitched Nested Labels. I went through my stash of dies, looking for a good shape to layer and I found a banner from the Merry Christmas dies which I thought would work. I went through my DSP for a nice background and went with my fav, Woven Threads DSP. My background is Tranquil Tide. I did layer up the banners in case there was an accident!! (It happens sometimes!!) I mounted the banners with dimensionals to raise them up a little bit.

I’ve just received the Cuckoo for You bundle which is soooo cute!! I coloured the clock using a combination of markers and blends in Tranquil Tide, Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile and Pool Party. I put an In Colour Faceted Dot on the centre of the clock. For the sentiment, I’ve got a little sneak peak from the Holiday Catalogue. It’s Shimmery Silver ink!! Can’t wait to play with this more!!

I can’t wait to see what Lauren has created.

We would love to see what you have created, so please your creation with us at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. Great CASE, Rebecca. I love your ’tiled’ background – very clever and perfect for your cuckoo clock. I’m trying to resist this bundle, though I’ve bought the holiday stamp set that matches the dies 🙂

  2. I think I am fighting a loosing battle in trying tor resist buying the cuckoo clock bundle….you’re not making it easy! This card is super cute, I love the colours you have picked. Great case

  3. I love the striking colours you have used on your card base, then pairing them with the softer colours on the intricate clock! It is nice to see the new products sneaking into projects.
