Welcome to another colourful week at Colour Inkspiration! I love the colours we are using this week. Without further ado, they are Mango Melody, Berry Burst, Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather.

Isn’t this just a gorgeous photo! I wish I could have such a gorgeous bunch of flowers at home, but sadly my kitties like to eat them, so no flowers for me.

Whilst it was tempting to create a card with flowers, I decided to use the Birthday Statements stamp set and the Hooray stamp. I also used the Crackle Paint stamp set on the Pear Pizzazz layer.

I used markers to colour most of the image and whilst I did stamp the image in Memento Black, I did re-colour the word Hooray with the black marker to make it stand out a bit more. I also used blends on the balloons so that I could do a highlight with them.

I had to use my new favourite Stitched Rectangle framelits for the main sentiment piece and the smallest rectangle for the small sentiment.
