CTC220 – Sale-a-bration

Welcome to another great week at Caseing the Catty! We are nearing the end of Sale-a-bration but we are still being inspired the catalogues!

I was inspired the colours from the Painted Seasons DSP. I got out all the colours of the DSP and then narrowed it down to these ones.

I am going to a significant birthday party next weekend so I thought I would take the opportunity to make the card today and be organised for once! Once I had selected the colours, I decided to create my own dsp using the Abstract Impressions stamp set and the three step stamping flowers. To create each flower, I just stamped off the colour a number of times depending on which layer of the flower it was.

I also used the retired Numbers framelits (I’m never getting rid of these!!) in the Grapefruit Grove foil. I then embossed on a piece of Petal Pink card stock using Grapefruit Grove ink and clear embossing powder. I cut it out using the Rose Trellis framelits. I also added a piece of grosgrain ribbon.

I hope my friend likes her card, I’m looking forward to a fun evening!

Next up is the lovely Julia.

We would love to see your creations caseing the Sale-a-bration Catalogues, so share them with us at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. Love your hand stamped DSP. Love all these colours and they work brilliantly with the grapefruit foil! What a happy card to celebrate an awesome milestone!
