It’s been an exciting fortnight seeing all the amazing entries for the last colour challenge. Congratulations to the winners!!
I found the next challenge to be, well a little challenging! The combination this week is Elegant Eggplant, Crushed Curry, Delightful Dijon and Whisper White.
I went to my stash only to find that I had completely run out of Elegant Eggplant cardstock!! How does that happen!! So I turned to another purple instead, Wisteria Wonder.
I never really create a card with an end result in mind. I wanted to use the gorgeous So Detailed thinlits and of course, I knew the colours I was going to use. I decided to create a water coloured background with the three colours. I then cut out the thinlits in Delightful Dijon, and trimmed off the edges. I sponged the back in tombow glue and attached it to the watercoloured piece.
I love the Stitched Shape framelits and decided they would make a great feature for the sentiment, which comes from the So in Love stamp set. Did you know that you can get the So Detailed thinlits and the So in Love stamp set as a bundle and save 10%.
