Can you believe we are in February already!! The year is flying past so quick! This week we are casing the Sending Love section, pages 14-19 of the 2017 Occasions catalogue.
Whilst it’s still a while away from Easter, I wanted to use the new Basket Bunch bundle as it’s soooo cute!! I decided to case the card at the top of page 18.
I pretty much cased the whole card, except I coloured my flowers with the new water colour pencils for a softer look and I used a different sentiment from the set.
I just love that sentiment!! It’s so true!! I love the little solid Cadbury eggs. I added Stella to the flowers to make them stand out a bit more and added a candy dot to the centre.
Whilst I was making this one, I had the catalogue open and was inspired to also case the cross card on page 19.
I was drawn to the simple look with the dsp in the background. I don’t have this set but I decided to use the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set and the Serene Scenery DSP from the Annual Catalogue. I embossed in copper and added a strip of copper foil and the Very Vanilla satin ribbon behind the sentiment.
I’m happy with how it turned out. Clean and simple!!
Next on the hop is the amazing Rachel Palmieri so make sure you check out her project!
Please come and join our new Facebook Challenge Group where you can join us and share your projects from the same section of the catalogue.
Hope you have a great week,
Happy Stamping

Cute cute cute card. Love those flowers too. And your take on the Easter message card is so beautiful. I love the copper embossing.
Two very different but lovely cards. I really like the sympathy card, I love this layout too.
Gorgeous Rebecca! I Have to have that easter set! Lol….the sentiment resonates!
A very cute CASE, Bec. Love your basket of flowers.
Haha – love it Bec! How awesome is that sentiment??? My Easter faves (just in case you’re wondering) are the hollow Cadbury eggs that come in a crate 🙂
I know, right!!
