I hope you are having a great weekend. It’s been so hot in Queensland this week again! We had our trees mulched last week following the big storms at Christmas. So now we have a very big pile of mulch to move! I’ve made a head start but it’s going to take a while. It does look good in the garden.
We are casing the Forever Love section, pages 14-21 of the January to April 2024 Mini Catalogue.
I had a high tea last weekend for my 50th birthday (again, it was very hot!!). It was a lovely time! I now need to make a few more thank you cards. I was inspired by the Hello cards on page 19 and the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid embossing folder.
These samples have inked the embossing folder, however mine looked very messy so I decided to keep it plain. I used a notecard as the base and used a strip of the Garden Walk DSP at the top and bottom. I used a piece of Calypso Coral for the middle section which I embossed using the Basic embossing folders. I added a piece of crinkled seam binding ribbon which I coloured with a Pretty Peacock blend. I embossed the Thank you and die cut it out. I added a layer of Rose Gold DSP as my high tea had a theme of rose gold. Now to get making a few more!
