Can you believe that we are in December!! This year is going so quickly! I hope you are getting your Christmas cards done. I think I’m almost there!

This week, we are casing the bundles featured on pages 66 to 73 of the September to December 2023 Mini Catalogue. I love this section as it gives you more ideas of what to create using the bundles.

I’m casing one of the images from our main picture, the Noel card on the top right. You know I love a wreath, (I think we might be hitting 20 this year!!) so of course I had to case this card.

I used the Joy of Christmas DSP which is one of my favourites from this catalogue as the background. I then cut out lots of the pine leaves from the Joy of Noel dies in Shaded Spruce. To place them in a circle on the card which wasn’t wonky, I used a roll of tear and tape and drew a circle lightly in pencil. I then layered the leaves using glue dots around the circle. I then cut some of the little green leaves in Old Olive and glue dot them around the wreath. I then stamped the Noel in Real Red and die cut it out. I stamped in gold a couple of the holly berry branches. I had a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso.

Once the card was together, I used some of the pearlized enamel effects on the wreath and the holly berries. Note that there is only one holly berry as I stuck my finger in one when I went to photograph it!
