CTC387 – Case a Punch Project

I hope you are having a great weekend. I went to Sydney with a friend during the week and we finally got to see Phantom of the Opera after about 3 attempts to get there. It was an amazing show and a great venue at the Sydney Opera House. We also did the Bridge climb on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. What a fabulous experience!! I wasn’t scared (which I thought I might be) and the views were incredible. I did get the shakes in my legs coming down and they are still sore now!! This photo is part the way up the bridge.

This week, we are casing punch projects from either of our great catalogues.

I was going to case the Annual Catalogue and I started at the punch section, and then I remembered that I recently got the Vintage Christmas stamp set so I headed off to the July-December 2022 Mini Catalogue and page 63 which is where the stamp set is featured.

I decided to combine the 2 sample cards but I wanted to use DSP on the background. I flipped through my DSP sampler and found a piece of paper which was just what I was looking for from the Abigail Rose DSP. I then die cut a circle from the Stylish Shapes dies in Sahara Sand. I also stamped the vase in Old Olive and used the Vintage Bottle Punch. I then embossed the flowers in white, the pinecones were stamped in Early Espresso and the leaves in Old Olive. I then tied a double bow using some twine from a kit. I then stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and cut it out using one of the smaller circles from Stylish Shapes dies.

I’m really happy with how classy this card turned out!!

Next up is the lovely Kathryn.

We would love to see your creations so please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping!!

  1. I’m not sure how I’d go climbing the bridge. What a great experience and lovely photo to look back on. Great card! I love the paper for the background and the colours are lovely.
