CTC330 – Sale-a-bration

Well hasn’t it been an “interesting” week. As a Queenslander, I am excited that we are now out of lockdown. Yay, I get to go to work tomorrow! It has been nice to not have to commute or make lunches ahead of time but there have been a couple of days that I was soo cold!! Luckily, hot water bottle to the rescue!! My thoughts and prayers are with everyone else who is still in lockdown.

Something else that is exciting this week, is that the 2021 July – December Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration catalogues have gone live!! We are casing the Sale-a-bration Catalogue this week.

I didn’t very far through the catalogue and went with the Joy card on the right. When I looked closely at the red flower, I realised that the flower was the Be Dazzling paper which had been spritzed. Of course, I had to give that a try.

I started off by cutting a banner from the Beautifully Penned DSP which is a SAB freebie and sponging it with Shaded Spruce and a blending brush. I then cut out a flower from the Poinsettia dies in the Be Dazzling paper. I then spritzed it with Cherry Cobbler ink. I’m so glad that I cleaned my desk yesterday for a Zoom chat with my stamping ladies as I spritzed some of my desk as well!! I sat it in the sun to dry whilst I got the greenery sorted out.

I stamped some greenery in Shaded Spruce from the Forever Fern stamp set and die cut them out. I also stamped some holly from the Merriest Moment stamp set and Merriest Frames dies in Granny Apple Green. I then cut out some sprigs in Cherry Cobbler and Be Dazzling paper from the Poinsettia dies.

I enjoyed creating the sentiment using a couple of the sentiment stamps from the Merriest Moment set.

If you love the Be Dazzling paper, you can choose it as your SAB freebie when you spend $90 with me!

Next up is the lovely Tina.

We would love to see your creations casing the Sale-a-bration catalogue, so please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping!!

  1. I hadn’t noticed that they’d coloured the be dazzling paper so thanks for pointing this out. Love your choice of Shaded Spruce, great choice for the main background colour and the blended ink looks great.
