Welcome to another fun week at Caseing the Catty! We are casing a card or project from one of the amazing kits in either of our Catalogues.

I have just purchased the Gorgeous Posies kit and I’m still waiting for it to arrive but this kit is just so pretty that I thought I would have a go at casing one of the cards.

I also went to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers on one of my days off. Actually it had actually finished but the flowers were still flowering! I was inspired by this photo of a gorgeous Iris.

So my background is a piece of DSP from Whale of a Time and I’ve used a piece of the Forever Gold Specialty DSP for the frame. Then I’ve used a piece of Purple Posy cardstock and stamped the flowers from To A Wild Rose in Purple Posy and Highland Heather ink. I cut the flowers using the Wild Rose dies. The sentiment is from Beautiful Friendship and I used the retired Roses dies for the shape. I added a piece of Bumblebee In-colour ribbon.
