I hope you have had a crafty weekend. I had a day off on Monday and I managed to do 4 crafts in one day!! Talk about best day ever!! I did some card making, diamond painting, crocheting and some paper piecing hand sewing.

Are you as excited as I am for the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue!! I’m not sure I’m ready for Christmas yet but I am starting to get excited for the Christmas goodies in the catty.

Our challenge this week is to case the cover of the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue.

My favourite Christmas colour combo is red and green, so I love this cover! I decided to case the circle box on the bottom left, however I’ve made a card instead.

I am loving the Poinsettia Place suite, which includes the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and Poinsettia dies. I love the stamps and the dies and the options you have with them. You can stamp the petals and die cut them or you can die cut the petals and then emboss the veins.

I stamped and cut out the flowers in Real Red and the leaves in Shaded Spruce. I also cut out the holly in gold foil to match the Wonder of the Season Specialty DSP that I used in the background.

I curved the petals of the flowers using a bone folder to add a bit more depth to them. I was going to add some gold metallic thread but I totally forgot until I was finished!
