Welcome back to week 2 of casing the colours of the Kerchief Card kit from the Sale-a-bration catalogue, which are Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso, Gold, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.

Isn’t this such a pretty kit? I made it up at my monthly class and the ladies all loved it.

This week, I’ve gone with Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White. I’ve also used the Peaceful Poppies DSP as the background paper.

I cut out two swirls, in Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White, and trimmed the white to just a circle. I used the Bonanza Buddies stamp set for the sentiment which I stamped in Poppy Parade.

I die cut the flowers and leaves from the Poppy Moments dies. One of my stamping friends recommended colouring with the matching marker to make the outlines stand out which I’ve done rather than using a different colour. Great tip, thanks Lou!!

I also added a piece of Whisper White crinkled seam binding ribbon across the card.

I’m really happy with how lovely this card turned out!! So bright and colourful!!
