I’m excited to be a part of the ESAD 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog Hop tonight!! It’s only 2 sleeps until the catalogue goes live and I can’t wait!!
I have two cards to share with you today. The first card features the Bloom & Grow stamp set and the co-ordinating Budding Blooms dies. I first saw this set at Onstage in Auckland and I just loved it. I love the flowers and how easy they are to colour any way you like. I also love the font of the sentiments as well.
I embossed my sentiment in Silver embossing powder at the bottom of a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock. Such a lovely dusky pink! I stamped the small stamps from the Bloom & Grow stamp set in Purple Posy ink on Purple Posy cardstock to add some subtle detail to the background. I then cut the bottom of this piece using the scalloped die. I added a piece of the new Rococo Rose scalloped linen ribbon between the join of the two pieces of cardstock.
I then stamped the floral image in Memento Black and coloured it using my blender pens in Rococo Rose and Purple Posy ink. I used Granny Apple Green blends for the leaves. (Can’t wait to get the new colours of blends). I then stamped extra leaves on Granny Apple Green cardstock and cut them out using the dies. Then a quick assembly, and voila, all done!
For my second card, I used the Woven Threads DSP as the background. I also used the sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set. I also love the font of these sentiments as well.
I stamped the sentiment on Sahara Sand cardstock using Terracotta Tile ink and punched it out using the 2 1/4″ circle punch. I then added a piece of the new Sahara Sand Woven Threads trim which is just stunning!
I hope you enjoyed my two cards. Next up is the lovely Richelle.
Happy Stamping
