9 December 2012 – It’s time for Calendars!!

I can’t believe that it is that time of year to start making calendars for next year. The year is just flying past so quickly!!

I had a Christmas High Tea with old work friends on Friday. Yum, Yum, I love High Tea!!

I always make the girls a little present and this year I decided to make calendars to stick to the fridge.

I covered pieces of chipboard with the multi purpose adhesive sheets and attached a patterned piece from the Subtles Designer Series Paper stack. I then ran it through the Big Shot with the Oval Accent die.

I used the Labels Collection framelits and the matching paper piercing pack and attached the calendar to the front.  My favourite punch has to be the Scallop circle punch and it doesn’t matter what size!!  The Holiday Catalogue has the cutest little punch at only 1 1/4″. I punched out a bunch of them and gave them a quick squirt of water and crunched them up.  The water made it easier to squash them better.  I then put a hole in the middle and added a rhinestone brad.

I cut up some of those advertising magnets that you get in the mail and attached it to the back.  I hope the girls like them!!
