It was so nice this morning to wake up to the sound of rain on the roof.  We desperately need rain as everything is so dry and brown.  Hopefully we will get a little more soon!

This week at CTC we are casing the Graceful Glass section of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, pages 164-179.

I actually didn’t get past the very first page!  I love the Painted Glass stamp set and the gorgeous co-ordinating designer vellum.

I decided to case the pink card on the left of page 164.

I used one of the other prints from the vellum and coloured it using Stampin’ Blends in Old Olive, Lovely Lipstick, Highland Heather and Rich Razzleberry.  When attaching to the card base (which is Highland Heather), I put a piece of white cardstock underneath so that the brightness of the colours would show through.  I used a few glue dots under the diamonds so that you can’t see the adhesive.

I then stamped the circle in Sahara Sand and punched out using the 2 1/2″ circle punch.  I then stamped the sentiment in Memento Black over the top.  I then used some black mini sequins under the circle and added a few flowers coloured in Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.  I added a bit of Stella for a bit of bling.
