Welcome to another great week at Colour Inkspiration!   We are showcasing the Regals Colour collection this week.  You can choose 3 colours and any of the basics.

As you may know, I’m heading to Orlando in November to attend Stampin’ Up!’s 30th Anniversary Onstage event.  And, of course, I’ll be visiting all the Walt Disney World parks!!

The Graceful Glass vellum reminds me of the roses from Beauty and the Beast so I based my card around that.

I coloured using the Real Red and Shaded Spruce.  I added a piece of whisper white card stock behind the vellum to make the colours stand out more.  I also stamped two flowers from the Painted Glass stamp set and cut out with the Stained Glass thinlits.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of crushed curry and cut out with the Everyday Label punch.

CTC193 – Graceful Glass

It was so nice this morning to wake up to the sound of rain on the roof.  We desperately need rain as everything is so dry and brown.  Hopefully we will get a little more soon!

This week at CTC we are casing the Graceful Glass section of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, pages 164-179.

I actually didn’t get past the very first page!  I love the Painted Glass stamp set and the gorgeous co-ordinating designer vellum.

I decided to case the pink card on the left of page 164.

I used one of the other prints from the vellum and coloured it using Stampin’ Blends in Old Olive, Lovely Lipstick, Highland Heather and Rich Razzleberry.  When attaching to the card base (which is Highland Heather), I put a piece of white cardstock underneath so that the brightness of the colours would show through.  I used a few glue dots under the diamonds so that you can’t see the adhesive.

I then stamped the circle in Sahara Sand and punched out using the 2 1/2″ circle punch.  I then stamped the sentiment in Memento Black over the top.  I then used some black mini sequins under the circle and added a few flowers coloured in Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.  I added a bit of Stella for a bit of bling.

I hope you enjoy my card this week!

Next up is Peta, I can’t wait to see what she has created.
