I’m excited to be joining in with this week’s Colour INKspiration challenge!

Stampin’ Up! ® has just had a major colour revamp so to start off the new catalogue year at Colour INKspiration we’ve decided to feature a Colour Collection for the first challenge each month (2nd Wednesday) until we have showcased them all!

The second challenge in the month (4th Wednesday) will be a Pinterest inspired pic as per usual just to mix it up a bit. This month we are starting off with the NEUTRALS COLLECTION and you can choose any 3 colours from that range for your challenge project. We are also changing the rules about what else you can add to the mix; essentially just the Basics – Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black as well as metallics.

I really wanted to have a play with the new Stitched Labels framelits.  They are just lovely.  I love the dotty background one, so I used it three times to cover the Merry Merlot piece and add a bit of texture.

I cut out the large label in Sahara Sand and stamped it using the sentiment from the Healing Hugs stamp set.  And have you noticed the gorgeous flower?  Isn’t it amazing??  This stunning flower (in Merry Merlot) and leaves (in Mossy Meadow) are two of the new Disinktive stamps which stamp beautifully with the new style ink pads.

Now don’t tell anyone, but I actually used 4 colours from the Neutrals collection on this card!!  The base is Night of Navy, with Sahara Sand and Merry Merlot card stock.  When I stamped the flower, I realised that there was a matching set of leaves so I had to do them in Mossy Meadow.  Oops!!

Next up on the hop is the lovely Kim.
