Welcome to our second challenge for Colour INKspiration!! The first challenge was amazing, we had over 100 entries!! Well done to everyone who joined in.
Here is the colour inspiration for this week. We have Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky, Mint Macaron, Whisper White and Garden Green. You can also use a couple of neutrals like basic black, crumb cake etc.
I decided to make a gift box using the new Window Box thinlits die. It is soooo pretty!! I love how it comes with different inserts so you can change the look of the box easily. I really love the cut out for the top so I used that on my box. I created my flowers using the Botanical Builder framelits. I sponged them for some texture and painted them all over with Wink of Stella. The photos don’t show just how shiny it is!!
I then just added a bow to dress up the front and side of the box. I’m not sure who the lucky recipient of this box is but maybe I should give it to my husband so that he can put my birthday present in it!! Although he might need more than one box (hint hint, nudge nudge).
Next up on the hop is my Onstage roomie, Bronwyn, who has the most amazing project to share with you!!
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Members of the group have the option to join the Colour INKspiration ‘Challenge’ by uploading photos of their projects and can link back to their personal blog if they wish to. Make sure you click on the link below and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in with the challenges too.
I hope you enjoy your mid week day off tomorrow!! I know I will be cos it’s my birthday!!
Happy stamping
