I’m on holidays this week, just catching up after Convention, and so I’ve had a bit of time to join in with this week’s Case-ing the Catty blog hop.
You may have come from Tricia’s blog (isn’t she clever!), or be starting here with me.
We are doing a sketch challenge this week and have been inspired by the doily card on page 22 of the AU/NZ Occasions catalogue.
I love doilies but I wanted to try and think out of the box so I had a look at my framelits and decided to use the Floral Frames (the second largest one).
Seeing as there is a new Royal baby this week, (Congratulations to Prince William and Kate!!), I wanted to make a baby girl card.
I seem to have used about 4 different sets of framelits on this card!! Floral Frames, Banner framelits, Baby’s First and Itty Bitty Banners. I crinkled the flower and then sponged it to give a bit of texture. Do you know where I got the background stamps from? It’s the Build a Bouquet stamp set!!
I couldn’t decide on which colour for the pram, so I made 2 cards! It’s always handy to have extra in your stash.
I hope you like my cards!! The next stop on the hop is Stasia.
And speaking of convention, those of us on the Design team who were able to attend, caught up to have a photo! It was like being photographed by the Paparazzi!! Except that none of us got a good picture!! Lol!
Happy stamping!

This is so pretty Rebecca! The scrunched framelit adds lovely texture too. Lovely to meet you at Convention – that photo is lovely…yes, we had quite the array of photographers…my face was hurting from smiling!! 🙂
Love all the elements. Such a cute baby girl card.
Oh how sweet! Love this.
These are just too cute! Love how you’ve added texture on the Floral Frames cutout!
It was so nice to meet you at Convention 🙂
I like the way you think! Lovely cards Rebecca. Hard to choose the colour-I like both!
Perfect for a princess! Such sweet cards, Rebecca. Love the extra texture from the scrunched medallions & the clever speckled background. 🙂
I love the soft colours you have used on your baby card. Your floral framelit works a treat & that build a bouquet stamped background is just so clever. I hadn’t even thought of using that stamp in that way!
