We have a wet, drizzly day in Queensland today, which is perfect for crafting!! So much nicer than sweating it out!

We are casing embossing folder projects from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I’m always a fan of embossing folders. I just love the immediate results you get from embossing, it always gives me a thrill!!

I decided to case and combine two cards on page 11 which uses the Wrapped in Christmas bundle.

I went with the one at the top and then parts of the one in the middle on the right. I used the same DSP, which is the Heartwarming Hugs DSP but I did go with a different pattern. I embossed a piece of Real Red cardstock using the Wrapped In Texture embossing folders (which are on special with the Closeout sale at 50% off!!). I’ve had the Gold Hoops embellishments for a while but haven’t used them so I decided to case that element from the smaller card. The sentiment on the banner is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. The little trees are from the Warm Hugs stamp set and cut out using the Warm Wrap dies. I had some retired gold glitter flakes which I added at the top of the trees for a bit of bling.

I can’t do a long detailed post today as both of my kitties have pinched the 2 chairs I have in my craft room and I can’t kneel any longer!! (And of course, I can’t kick them out of the seats!!).
