It’s been an exciting week for Demonstrators this week. We have finally been able to register for Onstage in Orlando!! And luckily, all 7 of us who are staying together, were able to register so Orlando Onstage Live, here we come!!!! 74 days until Bronwyn, Sandra and I depart. I “may” have an app to count down. Bring it on!!
So back on track with this week’s challenge, which is the Tranquil Textures section, pages 154-163 of the 2018 Annual Catalogue.
As I was flipping through all the lovely cards in this section, I decided to case the card on page 161.
I decided to cover a retired note pad I found in my cupboard. I used a piece of watercolour paper and trimmed it to fit the note pad. I then water coloured the background in Balmy Blue and let it dry. I then embossed the sentiment in copper on a piece of vellum and I tore around the edges.
I then kept the same layout and added the branch and flowers the same. I used a piece of copper trim down the side and added a bow which I then pulled apart (one of the things I love about the trim!!)
Here’s a close up of the bottom. Don’t you love that copper embossing!
Next up is fellow kitty lover, Peta. I hope Marvi is making an appearance this week!
Make sure you share your creation with us at our Facebook group.

Well that certainly dresses up a notebook. Lovley CASE Bec, and your pearls accent the coral so beautifully. Love the embossing directly onto the vellum. so many lovely details.
I’m sure the “app” has already been activated. How exciting to be going to Orlando!
