I’ve had a lovely week off work relaxing after the Commonwealth Games. I’ve done a few jobs around the house, shopping with my mum and lots of time in the craft room!! I think my mojo has returned!!
We are casing our favourite Occasions Catalogue Big Shot project this week. There are so many great framelits and thinlits in this catalogue, which makes it hard to decide which one to case!
I went with the Hold on to Hope bundle on page 27 of the 2018 Occasions Catalogue and the square card on the right.
Instead of embossing the white background, I used the large floral thinlit from the Flourish thinlits. I cut out 2 and then snipped them into pieces and using the fine tip glue pen, glued them around the edge of the card.
I love Marina Mist and I’m sad to see it leaving, so I used it on the scallop square. I added a square in So Saffron and stamped the strips using the Ready to Pop stamp set.
The sentiment is from the Hold on to Hope stamp set. As this is a square card, I made a matching card and even stamped it!
Make sure you check out the retiring products in my online store, here.
Next up is the awesome Peta!
Come and share your favourite big shot project from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue in our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping!

Lovely combination of products on your card this week Rebecca. I am a bit sad to see Marina Mist go too.

Love the use of thinlits instead of an embossing folder background – looks great. And also your colour choices, very nice.
