Christmas is coming up so quickly!! Can you believe that it’s only 5 weeks to go!! And I haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet!!
This week, I am celebrating the Wonderland stamp set. I love the trees, and the sentiments on this set. I’m a little unsure of what to do with the antlers though!!
For my first card, I used the matching Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP. This is such a lovely paper to use. It’s very smooth and shiny and feels very luxurious.
I used the Thick Whisper White cardstock as my base. As the name suggests, it’s a bit thicker than the standard Whisper White and it makes a nice base to your cards. I stamped the trees in Memento Black ink and then stamped my sentiment in versamark and embossed it in gold embossing powder. I added a gold doily for some extra bling.
On my second card, I used the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack. I love it!! I used glue dots to attach it to the Basic Black base then added sequins over the top to hide the glue dots. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink, then punched it out using my 2 1/2″ circle punch. Then I embossed the branches in gold embossing powder. I’ve been practicing my swirls with gold thread and I’m quite happy how this one turned out!!
