Can you guess the castle?

When Bronwyn released her latest tutorial yesterday, I knew straight away what I could make!!

In November, I am heading to Orlando, Florida to attend the 30th Anniversary Stampin’ Up! Onstage event.  Flights and accommodation are booked so I can’t wait!!

Of course, one of the things I am most excited to be doing is to be going to Disneyworld!!  So my castle had to be the Cinderella Castle!!

As always, Bronwyn has created a clear and easy to follow tutorial, which you can purchase here.  After doing a search of what the Cinderella Castle looks like, I made a few tweaks to the design but it’s pretty close to the original.

Make sure you have a look at who is peaking through the windows!

I probably should have put some flags on the top but it’s been such a hot day, that my mojo had melted!!  I think I’ll add some next time I hit the craft room.

I’m really happy with how it turned out!!  And it’s only 248 days until I leave for Orlando!  Bring it on!!

Happy Stamping

Wow, what a tutorial!!

My clever friend, Bronwyn Eastley at Addinktive Designs, has put out a call for members to join her Addinktive Design Tutorial Design team.

I love her tutorials!  The cards are amazing, and her instructions have great photos and lots of detail.  I purchased the Z-fold card with a Picket Fence tutorial last year and ran it as a class for my regular stamping class.  I realised I didn’t blog about it, so here we go!!

I love the Jars of Love set.  I was a little late to the party getting this set, but I’m so glad I did.  When I did this card as a class, I actually stamped and cut out all the flowers for my 10 ladies.  Yes, ALL OF THEM!!  Did you know that adds up to about a million flowers!  Well, it felt like it!!

So here it is closed, so you can see it does fit into a standard envelope.

Here’s a front on view. (BTW, it’s not the easiest card to photograph!!)

Can you see the Z?

Isn’t it pretty!!

Whilst it was a challenge to make this in a class, the ladies did a great job and really enjoyed it.

I’m going to have to try this one using a different stamp set and see how it turns out.

Let me know what you think!

Happy Stamping

3 October 2012 – Box ‘n’ Wrap

I recently purchased a template for a box’n’wrap from Tanya Bell, (you can buy it from here) and I have been procrastinating about making it.  Well I had a couple of days off last week, so I got stuck into it.  Tanya does great instructions and also has link to exclusive videos on how to put it together.

Here’s my box’n’wrap.

I made three different themed boxes, Thanks, Birthday and Christmas.  I’ll post each one separately over the next few days.  Here’s the boxes.

This is the Birthday box.

Here’s the Thanks box.

And here is the Christmas one.  (There was no hestiation about what stamps for this one!!)

I’ll list the details of what I used on each individual post.  I’m planning on giving this as a present to one of my friend’s who has a birthday coming up soon.  I hope she likes it!!
