I’ve been able to have a play with some of the SAB products and they are all so nice!! My team has been doing a swap and I’ve been receiving gorgeous cards in the mail (so much better than bills!!). I was inspired by the talented US demo, Mary Fish (check out her blog here).

I used the 1″ square punch to punch out the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper. I did two squares using the new Vine Street embossing folder (I love embossing!!). I then stamped the birthday sentiment from the Pretty Petites stamp set and punched it out using the Petite curly label punch. It is one of the cutest punches ever!!! I used the Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack as well.

I hope the girls in the team like their swap!!

2 January 2013 – Cuteness!!!

I recently got the Lovely Little Labels stamp set and the matching Little Labels Punch Pack and they are so cute!!  They are teeny, tiny stamps and punches but oh so cute!!

I cased a card from Too Cool Stamping but made a few changes.  I love the Elegant Butterfly punch as well.  No more fussy cutting around butterflies for me!

My current favourite paper is the Birds of a Feather DSP.  It matches nicely with the 2012-2013 in colours.  I just love how everything SU! matches with each other!!

25 October 2012 – McDonald’s birthday!!

I picked an interesting colour combination for this card!!  It was suggested by the Colour Coach which is great if you are stuck for a colour combo.  So I used Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler for this card but it does kinda remind me of Macca’s!!

I love the postage stamp punch which is sooo cute!!  The Pretty Postage stamp set matches nicely.

29 September 2012 – Festive Friday Challenge

I came across the Festive Friday Challenge at Nicole Derendorf’s blog and thought it was a nice, easy sketch that I could do.  I immediately thought of the Festival of Prints DSP stack in the Holiday catalogue.

It was hard to choose which paper to use, so I picked 5 different ones.  My next dilemma was finding a small stamp to fit into the Modern label punch.  Most of my small word stamps have retired but I managed to find one in the Petite Pairs stamp set which fitted nicely.  I matted it on the ends and then added a decorative label punch with the silver glimmer paper as it is Christmas after all and we need to have some bling!!  This would be a great card for mass production as it doesn’t take very long to put together.

I’d love it if you would leave a comment so that I know there’s someone having a look!

Here’s a close up of the bling.
