An MDS challenge that is!! I love doing sketch challenges and this week I’ve had a go at the MDS Monday challenge No. 53, which is focusing on using “scraps”. But it’s digital, I hear you say, there are no scraps!! Well, that’s true, but you can make some!!
Here’s the sketch.
And here’s my interpretation.
I love how I can whip up a page in an hour or so. I also love that if I don’t like a stamp or DSP, I can delete it or re-colour it, resize it or change it completely. The magic of digital!! Love it.
Supplies: Finest Simplicity frames, Staple and Stiching, Tres Chic stamp set, 1.25″ square punch, Decorative label punch, Hooray for Parties DSP

Happy (digital) stamping!!!
Where is the year going!!! It seems to be flying past already!!
We had stamp club on the weekend and I wanted to share a project using the gorgeous Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. I really love this DSP and wanted to show how it could be used in a non-christmassy way. I had not used all the shimmery paper in the pack (shock, horror, I know!!), so I decided to use that one as the background.
I was inspired by Dani Dziama, here. I loved her card, especially with the doily.
I gave the girls a sneaky peak at a new product being featured in the Sale-a-bration catalogue, the mini banner punch!! Is that not the cutest punch you’ve ever seen!! I am hopeless at making the ends of banners even so this is perfect for me.
Here’s a close up of the banner.
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Helloooo, Poppets!!!! Or rather Hello, Doily!! I love this doily stamp! I have seen so many lovely cards made with it!
I did this card at a new class that I’ve started close to home to show different uses for embossing.
We used the glossy card stock and embossing a doily using the versamark ink and white embossing powder. We then used a sponge dauber and rubbed it over the whole piece of card. A quick wipe off over the white embossing and voila!, awesomeness!!
Here’s a close up of the sentiment.
Stamp Set: Hello, Doily, Petite Pairs
Ink: Rose Red, Versamark
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, Whisper White, Glossy white
Accessories: White embossing powder, heat tool, sponge daubers, 1 3/4″ scallop circle punch, 1 3/8″ circle punch, 1 1/4″ circle punch, Wild Wasabi stitched ribbon
I also wanted to share with you this video from Stampin’ Up! showing how you can use My Digital Studio, the fabulous digital scrapbooking program ever!!

Have a great day!
I’ve noticed whilst surfing Pinterest that Banners are becoming quite popular. I have loved them all and wanted to make one.
As you may have noticed, I love my Big Shot!! I’ve used so many dies!! Firstly, I started with Scallop Square Clear Bigz die. I love the fact that you can cut 6 pieces of cardstock in one go! I then used the Rosette XL Bigz die to cut out strips from the lovely new Tea for Two Designer Series Paper to make the rosettes. I used two strips per square. These are so easy to make using my trusty hot glue gun.
I then used the 2 3/8″ Scallop circle punch in So Saffron and then layered with the Circle 2# Original die cut from more of the Tea for Two DSP. I used the Naturals White card stock as the base circle for the letters.
This is the first time that I’ve used my new Typeset Alphabet Bigz die. Using the multipurpose adhesive sheets makes it so easy to attach the letters. I just had to think about which way the letters needed to be cut so that they weren’t backwards!!
I added the Tea Time Trinkets which are very cute!
I hope you like it! I’ve hung it in my craft room above the window that I sit in front of.
