Well, kind of!! Thanks to the stunning Artisan Embellishments Kit in the seasonal catalogue, I can pretend that I am!
The kit comes with 26 embellishments including 2 designer tags, 4 designer ticket stubs, scalled lace, cotton lace, oval lace, seam binding ribbon, 6 paper flowers, 1 resin heart, 2 resin flowers, 5 buttons, 1 heart paper doily and 1 round paper doily! Lots of bits to make lots of gorgeousness!!
I cased my card from the catalogue using one of the pictures on page 10. I tweaked it a bit to use what I had but how lovely is the result!! I’m very happy with this one!! I don’t have a polka dot stamp (I don’t know why, I love them!!) so I just sponged the white ink pad on the card stock.
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter
Paper: Crumb Cake
Ink: Whisper White craft ink
Accessories: Artisan embellishments kit, Big Shot, Hearts a Flutter framelits
I have recently rediscovered the colour, Pool Party. It goes so nicely with More Amore Specialty DSP in the current seasonal catalogue.
I wanted to use my new Hearts a Flutter framelits as who doesn’t love a good banner!! I was inspired by Andi Potler on Splitcoast Stampers, here.
I made a few changes and I used the new ovals framelits and the gorgeous Two-tone ribbon. Seeing as it was coming up to Valentine’s Day when I made this card, I used a stamp from Word Play stamp set. And of course, who can resist the opportunity to use the honeycomb embossing folder! Not me!!
We did this card at stamp club and I had a few kits left over, so I made them up again but I used the O’Hello stamp set from the seasonal catalogue so I could use it for a birthday card as well!! I hope you like it.
