I love the mo, bro!!

I have to confess that I love the new moustache framelit and matching stamp set!! When I first saw it, I thought it was very cute but I didn’t need it. But I kept looking at it and finally decided to bite the bullet and get it. And at only $13.95 for the framelit, you can’t really go wrong!!

I thought it would make a great card for Father’s Day for stamp club so I did a quick search on Pinterest and found a great card by Rose Castillo here.

I only made a couple of changes by punching out the sentiment with the Word Window punch and mounting it on the Modern label punch. I love the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamps set as they all fit into the word window punch and there are lots to choose from. A couple of the ladies used the Happy Birthday stamp instead.

And here’s a closer look at the mo.

I hope you like it!! And I hope Dad and Pop don’t look here before Father’s Day!! I think I’m pretty safe!!

Happy Stamping

27 October 2012 – Blue Christmas

I have been having great fun making different ornaments.  I have also been having fun with the glue sticking to my fingers!!  Just one of the hazards of the job, I guess!!

I love all the new framelits that are in the Holiday Catalogue, espeically the Holiday Ornament framelits.  I have found that you can cut 4 layers of DSP at a time, although less with cardstock as it is a bit thicker.  This makes it quicker to make ornaments as each ornament needs about 20 pieces cut out.  Once it is folded and glue together, it comes together pretty quickly.

Paper:  Bella DSP, Very Vanilla

Accessories:  Big Shot, Holiday Ornaments framelits, Snow flurry die, subtles button, twine.
