It’s a Pocket card

Addinktive Design team button - December 2017

As you know, I’m a member of Bronwyn Eastley’s Design Team.  I was looking for a project to make for my last stamp class, so I turned to Bronwyn’s tutorials for inspiration! All the girls have been making amazing Pocket Card’s using Jackie’s Petal Palette Pocket Card template.

I used the Floral Frames bundle as my inspiration and here’s my colour combo.

I followed Jackie’s tutorial fairly closely.  I love the Foliage Frame framelits and the floral circle is gorgeous!   I used the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon which added a nice little bit of bling to the card!

And for someone who rarely decorates the inside of cards (I know, I should!) I did decorate the inside card.

The ladies in my class loved this card!  It was easy to do, and looks amazing!

CTC184 – Delightfully Detailed

It’s been a bit chilly this week, so those of us in Queensland are having a little taste of winter.  Having said that, I just have a t-shirt on today!

This week at CTC, we are casing the Delightfully Detailed section, pages 38-51 of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.

I decided to case the card on page 47 which features the Pop of Petals bundle.  I need to add this bundle to my list!

Firstly, I got my colour combo from the Online Color Coach that Stampin’ Up! provided after Onstage.  I went with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Call Me Clover.

Aren’t they pretty?  I used Petal Pink as the base of the card.  I used a retired doily as it was larger than the current ones.  I cut the Call Me Clover circle using the Foliage Frame Framelits and the new Big Shot Embossing Mats.  Can you see the embossing details on the petals?  I could get addicted to this!

I then stamped my sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and cut it out using the Circle framelits.  I stamped a couple of flowers from the Floral Frames stamp set in Petal Pink ink.  I also added a couple of self adhesive sequins in Pearl White.

This card is being sent off to my lovely friend, Emma cos I’m very lucky to have her as my friend.

Next up is the lovely Peta.  I can’t wait to see what she has created this week.
