I found this gorgeous card on Pinterest (where else!!) by Diana Gibbs here and fell in love!! My new favourite stamp set is Stippled Blossoms. I just love the look of 2 step stamping!!
We did this at Stamp Club in July and the girls loved it. Well, they didn’t quite love using the Stamp-a-ma-jig but they loved the look. I don’t think they really liked cutting out the flowers either but you can’t get such gorgeousness without a bit of hard work!! We used a few stamp sets but it was worth it.
I’d love to hear what you think. Please leave me a comment below.
Here’s a close up of the detail. We cut out three flowers and layered them to look like a large one.
I just realised that I managed a card which didn’t use the Big Shot!!! Doesn’t happen often!!
Stamp Set: Hello, Doily, Stippled Blossoms, En Francais
Ink: Crumb Cake, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzazz
Paper: Very Vanilla
Helloooo, Poppets!!!! Or rather Hello, Doily!! I love this doily stamp! I have seen so many lovely cards made with it!
I did this card at a new class that I’ve started close to home to show different uses for embossing.
We used the glossy card stock and embossing a doily using the versamark ink and white embossing powder. We then used a sponge dauber and rubbed it over the whole piece of card. A quick wipe off over the white embossing and voila!, awesomeness!!
Here’s a close up of the sentiment.
Stamp Set: Hello, Doily, Petite Pairs
Ink: Rose Red, Versamark
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Rose Red, Whisper White, Glossy white
Accessories: White embossing powder, heat tool, sponge daubers, 1 3/4″ scallop circle punch, 1 3/8″ circle punch, 1 1/4″ circle punch, Wild Wasabi stitched ribbon
