I recently purchased the new Brusho Crystal Colours which came out in the 2018 Occasions catalogue and I love it!!
At first, I thought it looked too hard and wasn’t for me. But then I watched a few videos and decided that maybe I could!
I used watercolour paper and had a play with all the colours. I put a few small holes in the top of the container and sprinkled a bit of the colour onto the paper. I then spritzed it with water and let the colours blend. Wow is all I can say!!
To create the two blue pieces, I had sprinkled quite a lot of blue brusho on the paper and spritzed it a lot. As it was quite wet, I decided to put a second piece on top of it to soak up the colour. I’m pretty happy how both pieces turned out.
So I’ve created two cards out of these pieces so far.
I used the red piece (which looks a bit pink) and cut out the flowers from the Petals and More thinlits. Aren’t they so pretty?
My second card features the butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set. I embossed it in silver embossing powder and then started with the yellow brusho powder and spritzed it. Once the colours started to blend, I then added more of the red powder and let it do it’s magic.
The sentiment on the banner is also from the Beautiful Day set.
I’m so happy with these and I can’t wait to play more! If you would like to have a play, I recommend just diving in and giving it a try. What’s the worst that can happen?
I hope you have a great week!!
Happy Stamping
